A Note on Giving During the Transition from Centerpoint to Citadel Square
Centerpoint Church and Citadel Square Baptist Church have officially become one church, but there are many aspects of our organization that will take time to fully transition, including our finances and giving processes. Many questions are sure to arise. One of those is, "Who do I give to?"
To be clear, whether you designate your giving to "Centerpoint" or "Citadel Square", it now will all go towards the same mission and is tax-deductible, as recognized by the IRS.
Online giving will continue to be run through Centerpoint Church's existing system until Citadel Square's new system is up and running. So if you have already set up recurring giving, nothing will change. If you are new, just be aware that your online gift will legally go to "Centerpoint" until the transition is complete. But you are effectively giving to "Citadel Square", it just hasn't been renamed yet.
Regarding tax statements, those will reflect the entity you give to. So if you've given to "Centerpoint" and to "Citadel Square" you will receive two tax statements. More information regarding tax statements will be given as we complete the legal transition. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this new situation.

Our Thoughts on Giving and Supporting God's Mission
Everything we have is a gift from God and is ultimately for God. The reality is, none of us is ever sacrificing anything when we give money, time, possessions or our talents, because we really don’t own anything – everything belongs to God.
The good news is that God himself is a far more generous, sacrificial giver to us than we could ever be in return. The death and resurrection of Jesus represent the most generous gift ever given — when the King of Glory gave up everything in order to reconcile us to God. Giving cheerfully, sacrificially and consistently to this King is a part of our worship. “…though [Jesus] was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich”—2 Corinthians 8:9
We give as an act of worship and thankfulness for the grace God has shown us through Christ. “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” —2 Corinthians 9:7
