Reopening Plan Update

Reopening Plan Update

Due to the significant spike in COVID-19 cases and a drastic increase in hospitalizations, particularly in Charleston, we have determined that we should pause our plan to reopen on July 12. The medical professionals on our reopening team unanimously suggested we wait, and we believe this is the wisest course of action to love our neighbors and do our part to prevent the continued spread of this disease.

We know that this is disappointing, as we long to be together as one body. In light of that, we are planning on having an outdoor prayer and praise gathering on Sunday, July 12 at 6 pm. We’ll meet in the Henrietta parking lot, making space for lawn chairs as well as space for cars (if you don’t feel comfortable getting out). We will send out more details on the logistics of this gathering next week. We look forward to seeing you then!

We hope that in the meantime, you are able to connect with others in your community groups and have found ways to worship with others at home. We know this is is a hard season for everyone, but we are praying God uses it to bring us closer together during our Monday-Saturday reality.

Please watch Pastor Steve's video below to hear more about our heart for this season. Our team will continue to monitor COVID-19 and update you in two weeks on the next steps for our church.
