Discussion Questions

  1. David is swept up into the story of God while being faithful where he is. Share some ways God has opened opportunities for you to serve Him through simple faithfulness.

  2. Where is it hard for you to see God’s hand at work? Where does it feel that Jesus is “ill-equipped” for battle?

  3. Read 1 Corinthans 1:20-31. Why are the "foolish, weak, and despised things" God’s method of revealing Jesus?

  4. The Philistines and Goliath are too much for Israel to handle alone. Spend some time praying for one another’s “giants.”
